the present
Living in present is the best gift we can present to ourself. I made the following list of to-dos for this year-
1. Not indulging in the past. what;s been done is done. Nothing can change. Rewinding the cassette of what could had been done is simply waste of mind, heart and hormones (u know the adreline rush which may occur when we think aggressively of the past or any alter consequence for some set of events in our alter universe).
2. Being responsible for my thoughts. Whatever we speak is first generated in the thoughts and if i become responsible for the thoughts, i may not be speaking those words for which i may repent in future.
3. Keeping silent. This does not mean i am weak. i have to be very strong if i want to keep silent. everyone is speaking (or shouting) now days but keeping the silence and being in peace should be the new trend in the chaotic world. Keeping mum gives me the time to think (and re-think) and create responsible thought and this thoughtfulness will result in exact words needed in the time. And many times i find, keeping mum have averted the unnecessary conflicts.
4. Staying honest with self. Being polite with self is most important. Associating with so many whys with self is very problematic like why i am not fair, why not slim, why not putting weight, why no boyfriend, etc.etc. Just appreciate yourself. It is about being okay with negativity (definitely not accepting but simultaneously working to correct it) and focusing more on positive would result in better self.
