Building Self- resilience in workplace

  Harvard Business Review defines resilience as “the ability to recover from setbacks, adapt well to change, and keep going in the face of adversity.” Essentially, it’s our ability to keep calm and carry on in the face of any adversity life throws. Resilience is really important . Why? Because there’s only one thing we can control in life: ourselves . Tough times are inevitable. It’s how to get back up after being knocked down…. that’s tricky to nail. Here sharing seven tips on how to build resilience workwise - 1.       Seek understanding from setbacks Sometimes, I feel that my sincere and honest work gets unnoticed. Living in present is the best gift we can present to ourself. I made the following list of to-dos for this year- 1. Not indulging in the past . what;s been done is done. Nothing can change. Rewinding the cassette of what could had been done is simply waste of mind, heart and hormones (u know the adreline rush which may occur when we think aggressively of the past or any alter consequence for some set of events in our alter universe).  2. Being responsible for my thoughts.  Whatever we speak is first generated in the thoughts and if i become responsible for the thoughts, i may not be speaking those words for which i may repent in future. 3. Keeping silent . This does not mean i am weak. i have to be very strong if i want to keep silent. everyone is speaking (or shouting) now days but keeping the silence and being in peace should be the new trend in the chaotic world.
