  In Search ... Disclaimer- The contents of the post are the outcome of the search, several readings and experiences, and majorly self-reflection. ------ Becoming Malang is my ultimate aim for life … I guess . This Malangness might assist me to act with decent perfection in any tiny or huge event, gain every experience to enrich my soul, and yet help me remain unaffected by the consequence. Malang is a Sufi word, otherwise called bairagi in Hindi. So the meaning derived for Malang is the one who lives and experiences the worldly life with every comfort (and discomfort) without getting tied to the result and hence, celebrates supreme freedom during the pilgrimage of life before reaching the absolute goal, called death. I am yet to come together with the 'real'  bairagi . And I am far (precisely Sun-from-Pluto-type far ) from evolving to become the one !! Food for thought on Diwali (Book review- The Gita Way by Shweta Chandra and Santosh Srivastava)

Disclaimer- This post is meant to be read at least twice Brooms are out, hands cleaning the dust, pockets purchasing the new. It is the season of festivities. The old things are getting replaced with new ones. With rows of lanterns lit inside and outside homes and buildings for the celebration, I wonder if our inner-old-self ever-renewed!! Well, in search of many such quests, my recent voyage led to this small read “ The Gita Way” by Shweta Chandra and Santosh Srivastava. “The Gita Way” is an irreligious take on the tenets of the Bhagavad Gita. It attempts to derive the insights of Gita through applications in the modern world and reflect light on matters of self-realization, and identifying and following the path to achieving the purpose of life. While reading this book, my curious spiritual mind started to question. Questions whose answers are not to be given out-loud or revealed to anyone but need introspection. ● Am I the type of person who is jealous of the other… or am I ...
