The quotes are used directly from the book.  “Her head was conserved in the Anatomy Museum in Paris until one day in 2000, it was stolen.”  When I heard this piece of evidence on one of the BBC programs, it steered me to browse about her.  The search led to this book. The book cannot compare to the events that transpired in her life, but I believe Paulo Coelho gave this woman a voice that was condemned by a rigorous community of her time. Published in 2016, "The Spy" is the real-life story of the historical figure Margaretha Gertrude Zelle, famously known as Mata Hari. The novel has been translated from Portuguese by Zoe Perry.  In this story, Coelho has used history, wrapped in the colorful cover of myth and fantasy. This book sympathizes with Mata Hari for her being one of the first women who became a martyr for equal ri

Motherhood Pic from internet While surfing the internet, I got to read the summary of events (The Q&A round) held for Miss World 2017. And... trust me... after reading the answer of Ms. Chillar... I immediately called my mother.  Manushi Chillar made the entire nation proud by winning the coveted Miss World 2017 beauty pageant in Sanya, China. She became the sixth Indian woman to be crowned as the Miss World after Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), and Priyanka Chopra (2000). The Miss World contest is not just about looks as the pageant judges the contestants on various other aspects of the personality. The spontaneity and intelligence with which the contestants answer the questions asked in the final round is a key factor that influences the judges.  Chiller gave a touching answer to the question she was asked in the round of five.  She was asked, " Which profession deserves the highest salary and why? Disclaimer- The content is entirely not original. I have attempted to augment my personal experience and thoughts. Have you picked any resolution for this amazing year 2021? If not, please read this warning : More than half of all resolutions fail during the first three months of the year. Pick the Right Resolution!!  A resolution that characterizes you and helps you reach your dream or goal. Don't just copy and paste somebody else's resolution. A lot of resolutions fail because they’re not the right resolutions. And a resolution may be wrong for one of three main reasons: 1. It’s a resolution established on what someone else (or society) is telling you to alter. 2. It’s too vague. 3. You don’t have a practical plan for accomplishing the set resolution. In this smart era, the goals should be smart — really, SMART . That’s an acronym coined in the journal Management Review in 1981 for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound . If it works for management, it ca

Searching & working on Emotional Kit Disclaimer- The content is not original. It is popular read on social networks. I have attempted to add my personal experience. We have learnt to protect ourselves from the corona virus. But what about our emotions? I believe that emotions require constant protection from all the different negative situations and negative people around us. I try to carry Emotion Protection Kit in a constantly negatively changing world. It is a set of few things - 1. Mask Of Spiritual Affirmation- Keeping one spiritual affirmation in mind helps in  masking against various emotional turbulent challenged by life's ups and downs. For example my personal favourite affirmation is - This too shall pass.  This mask of affirmation helps me remember that nothing is permanent...be it positive or negative. It keeps me hopeful. 2. Keeping the Oxygen Of Goodness Handy Goodness is an inner strength. It is like oxygen that we need to survive while living with people of di

The quotes are used directly from the book. I flipped through this book in 2017 while I was going through an enormous change in my personal and professional life- Mental, emotional and physical change due to embracing motherhood and a shift in job assignment. It was a period I got to understand what’s juggling between household and job is all about. While I could associate with a lot of the topics and opinions dealt with in this book and I'm most clearly within the target audience that the author was aiming to reach, but it wasn't life-changing or masterfully enlightening. Overall, the book made me feel better about my life choices and endorsed the " you're not alone " reassurance. I am happy to spend two days on this read as it added a different perspective of humanity.  The message I acquired after readin
