Emotion Protection Kit

We have learnt to protect ourselves from the corona virus. But what about our emotions? I believe that emotions require constant protection from all the different negative situations and negative people around us.
I try to carry Emotion Protection Kit in a constantly negatively changing world. It is a set of few things -
1. Mask Of Spiritual Affirmation-
Keeping one spiritual affirmation in mind helps in masking against various emotional turbulent challenged by life's ups and downs. For example my personal favourite affirmation is - This too shall pass.
This mask of affirmation helps me remember that nothing is permanent...be it positive or negative. It keeps me hopeful.
2. Keeping the Oxygen Of Goodness Handy
Goodness is an inner strength. It is like oxygen that we need to survive while living with people of different personalities. Trying to be good with every breath... constantly... is little hard but it let me experience emotional lightness and happiness.
3. Sanitize All Thoughts, Words And Actions With Wisdom
I believe reading some spiritual wisdom or interacting with positive souls of the world helps sanitizing every thought, word and action with the wisdom. It help to keep free from the germs of negativity which can reduce emotional immunity and inner strength.
4. Wear The Gloves Of Humility And Love
My job assignments have mostly placed me with people-dealing from varied levels, class and demography. I have learnt that wearing the gloves of humility and love have always helped me experience closeness with others. With time a kind of immunity develops that protects from influences of any negative words and actions.
5. Keep The Vaccine Of Peace Ready To Use For Mind
Injecting mind with beautiful and positive thoughts through music, reading, looking old photographs or even silence... is my way to have peaceful mindfulness.
6. Take The Pill Of All Spiritual Vitamins Everyday
The 7 spiritual vitamins for the mind are peace, joy, love, bliss, purity, power and truth. Feeding multivitamin pill everyday to remain strong, successful and obstacle free and to keep away all mental and emotional aches and pains.
7. Following Emotional Distancing In Home And Workplace
While interacting with family at home or colleagues at workplace or friends, i try to follow strict emotional distancing with each other. Radiate specialties and absorb specialties, radiate blessings and absorb blessings, don't radiate weaknesses and don't absorb weaknesses...is my emotional distancing mantra.
